Candid & Unreal: Synthetic Caught-Up Moments operates at a deliberate psychological friction point: the calculation of the uncalculated. Historically, the "caught-up" moment belongs to the domain of pure chance—a fleeting convergence of human vulnerability, unguarded emotion, and a physical camera lens. This project subverts that ritual by staging authenticity through algorithmic synthesis. By simulating low-light film artifacts, rain-slicked motion, and direct camera flash, the work constructs a series of synthetic memories. It quietly interrogates what happens when the most fragile, unself-conscious human states are entirely manufactured, creating an archive of found moments that never actually occurred

The project draws inspiration from vintage films, editorial, and home movie textures, photography, and a mixture of aesthetics and eras where boundaries disappear in a text-to-image cornucopia.
